HOW IT ALL STARTED

Since the 1990's several citizens tried to find a way to help and control the homeless cats of  Old San Juan.
In 2004 when  National Park Service were trying to find a solution to the growing feral cat colony on the Paseo we met with them and offered the T/N/R  TRAP/NEUTER/RETURN methgod as an alternative to the cats being taken to the local shelter where they would have been destroyed .

The residents supported the proposal and it was accepted by the National Park Service.

We started in December 2004  and one year later the colony has diminished by 50% by natural cause.

We are in the maintenance phase and can focus our attention to the rest of the Historical Old San Juan.We are totally commited to make our beautiful city the first  T/N/R  place in Puerto Rico.

For $28.00 at  the SAN JUAN SHELTER ( Kennedy Avenue) the cat is Neutered , Vaccinated   (rabbies) , Dewormed ,Ear clipped for identification and after complte recuparation the cat is Returned to its original Colony.

All this is done solely on donations from caring people .

We are a Non for Profit Organization and are tax exempt  501 (c)(3)
